Early Career and Business Background After completing an internship, Lugo held the role of Project Architect at Lugo and Company in Albany, New York—an architectural firm founded by his father in 1990. He formally joined the firm in 2002, gaining hands-on exposure to full-cycle architectural practice and firm operations. Prior to joining his father’s company, Lugo also worked in several professional roles, including time spent as a business consultant for a small business development firm in New York City.
