WHO WE ARE: Equity Chamber is one of the four chambers established by the Faculty of Law under the Law Students’ Society. It is an assemblage of learning minds who are desirous of becoming academically successful and are prepared to learn the rudiments of legal practice. Our Vision: To groom young lawyers into sound advocates, industrious jurists and intelligent scholars who will dominate the legal society in years to come. Our Mission: Equipping member law students in the professional line through constant meetings, workshops and seminars, lectures and interactive sessions, visitation to professional places of interest and participation in debates, Quiz, oratory, moot court and mock trial competition. THE RECORDS SO FAR:  We have produced the leading scholars in each department of the various levels in the faculty of law.  We have consistently produced the Chief Judge and some of the Judges of the University Students Union Government, same goes for the Law Students’ Society Judiciary.  More so, some of our members have in the past and are currently, filling topmost positions in other arms of the students’ union government and the law students’ society.  Some of us represented the faculty in competitions across Africa and Nigeria and won prizes.  We have visited many places on excursion, such as Nigeria Prison Service, Oke-Kura, Kwara State House of Assembly to learn about law making and its enforcement.  We organize annual Barr(s) Yakub Dauda’s Freshers’ Debate, Biola Adimula’s Moot court and Mobolaji Ojibara’s Mock Trial Competitions for the advancement of our members.  We organize regular meetings where we discuss academic, legal and socio-politico issues.  We were recently awarded “THE BEST CHAMBER FOR 2011/2012 ACADEMIC SESSION” by the Law Students’ Society.  We have reputable staff and practicing lawyers as our advisers. WE ARE PRIMUS INTER PARES, NON SECONDANT.
