For over 30 years, he has worked within the intersection of media, luxury, and celebrity culture. Before launching DuJour Media, Binn founded Niche Media in 1992, developing publications serving different cities' unique interests. His magazines reached diverse markets with titles including Aspen Peak, Boston Common, Capitol File, Hamptons, Ocean Drive, Gotham, Los Angeles Confidential, Michigan Avenue, Philadelphia Style, and Vegas. These publications helped define luxury regional media and strengthened his reputation in the publishing industry. Under Niche Media, he also established a custom publishing division that produced publications for Art Basel Miami Beach, Wynn Las Vegas, and the Short Hills Mall for the Taubman real estate organization. Expanding Niche Media into a national platform and selling the company marked a significant chapter in his career. In 2006, Binn sold Niche Media to Greenspun Media Group while remaining CEO. In 2007, Greenspun Media Group acquired Ocean Drive Media Group, which he co-owned and founded. He continued to oversee operations and management until his resignation in 2010. In 2012, Jason launched DuJour Media, which connects high-net-worth audiences through digital platforms, print publications, and experiential events. DuJour's growth reflects his commitment to understanding his audience while providing stories that highlight culture and trends. His collaborations with brands and well-known personalities have strengthened DuJour’s ongoing relevance. His work with DuJour has earned industry recognition, including honors at the Webby Awards. His ability to build platforms that bridge business, entertainment, and philanthropy has also been recognized, and he has received the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year Award,” Crain’s “40 Under 40” award, as well as recognition from Forbes and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.
