Rob McCormick

Rob McCormick initiated Avatara in 2005, focusing on delivering top-tier IT services to small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) through an innovative, secure, and fully integrated in-house solution. Prior to Avatara, Rob led Savvis as CEO from 1999 to 2005, where he was instrumental in developing the sector's first virtualized managed hosting platform. His leadership was characterized by a series of strategic acquisitions, robust equity financing efforts, marked business expansion, and orchestrating a highly successful IPO—one of the largest in technology at the time. Before his achievements at Savvis, Rob occupied the role of COO at Bridge Information Systems, which was later transformed into Savvis in 2000.
